Personality: Mystic is a gentle, friendly stallion who's basically a gentle giant to children. He used to do anything a human told him to do, this was until he was set free. Now he runs wild, never seeming to think back to the wild times he used to have. He does whatever he wants and goes wherever he pleases, avoiding herds and just enjoying the freedom of being away from men. As he becomes accustomed to life in the wild, he becomes more aggressive, though he's not the hardest stallion to capture when the men come to round up wild horses for breaking in.(103 words)
Limitations: None
Family: Unknown
History: Mystic was born to a famous riding school, his parents both once famous horses. He wasn't at the school for long, no, he was instead sold to a nice family with a little girl as their only child. At first Mystic was so very afraid of his new surroundings, but as he was only recently weaned, they thought he was just playing. They'd approach him, and he'd run off and hide, then peek out at them from behind a tree. Then he'd trot over to them, give them one quizzical look, then turn tail and hide again. He grew up afraid of the parents but gentle and playful with their 4 year old daughter. Everyday, little Ruby would enter the paddock and ride around on the young colt, her parents watching from afar. But one day, the fun all changed, Ruby clambered aboard Mystic, she was now 7 and he was 3. She rode around a bit, showing off for a friend who was staying the night, and then it all went bad. Ruby had invited for her friend to have a ride, and Emma had come running full-speed toward the stud, her face in a grin. Ruby, having not expected Mystic to act at this sudden intrusion, had no time to get off before Mystic bolted for the trees. Ruby fell off and hit the ground with a thud, landing awkwardly on her leg and letting out a squeal of pain. Her parents came rushing into the paddock, yelling at Mystic, who had halted and was nuzzling Ruby's face. As the stallion refused to leave their injured daughter, Ruby's father had pulled out a gun and aimed at the stud. The young horse had seen the gun and made a run for the trees, but he was too slow, the man aimed at him and shot his leg, making him fall to the ground. When he was able to walk on his leg again, the vet promising he'd be fine, and the doctor saying that Ruby had broken her leg, the parents made the difficult decision that it was time for the colt to go. And so, with a heavy heart, they took him away from the land and away toward the vast lands of the wild. The whole time the stallion pranced and pulled at the rope, trying to get away as he was still overly scared by the two people, and now all full-grown humans and their weapons. With a sad look at each-other, they removed the halter from the stud and watched as he galloped away without turning back, his only intention being to get away from the two terrible people.(445 words)
